Berry Roses on Grey Satin Scarf/Shawl

$ 80.00

• One of a kind:
A design of rose buds with thorny branches in burnout satin, called devorè. The fabric is a shimmering rayon pattern on a sheer silk chiffon background. The silk is dip-dyed a dark gray tone. I then hand-paint the rayon rose pattern, using black, turquoise and magenta dyes like watercolors. The dyes are mixed so they are permanent.

• Washable:
This scarf was pre-rinsed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. It should be washed in a cold, gentle cycle. It may be ironed.

•Measures 21"'x70":
The sewn hems are rolled-edges.

•The fabric is silk chiffon backing and rayon satin pile.
All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
If you don't love your item, I encourage you to return it or exchange it for a different style or another color within a wide palette. My goal is for all to wear it frequently and enjoy it, as I enjoyed making it.
