An original pattern of Oak Leaves made from what began as solid white fabric. Devoré (burnout or cut) velvet is created by removing velvet pile leaving the sheer silk chiffon background and revealing a design. The shimmering velvet pattern was then hand-painted with vibrant permanent dyes.
• Washable:
This scarf was pre-washed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle wash will add to its softness, as will putting it in the dryer. It may be ironed on the reverse side.
•Measures 20"'x70" (54x177cm):
The sewn hems are rolled-edges. Can be worn as a scarf or shawl.
•The fabric is 100% silk chiffon backing with 100% rayon velvet pile.
All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
