Made of devoré (burnout) silk-velvet. This is the Gingko pattern in a one-size box silhouette top. The 100% silk chiffon backing is dyed blackl. The shimmering velvet rayon pile has been hand-painted with washes of more dye. This fabric is then washed as part of the burnout and dying process and so is washable in a cold, gentle cycle after wear. Following with a hot drying cycle will add to its softness.
This top slips over the head. The width of this poncho is 34" and the length is 20". It has small seams on at the bottom of the sides to make armholes. It can be worn over a camisole or a long sleeve jersey shirt. It drapes beautifully over many body types. It can be worn with a special dress or paired with jeans.
Silk velvet is the highest quality velvet. Made of natural materials makes it luxuriously soft. This is a one-of-a-kind piece made for fall with fabric stored in the studio. This poncho can not be reproduced so once it's gone, it's gone.
