• One of a kind:
A pattern of Willow branches inspired by the Art Nouveau movement. The Devore technique removes velvet pile leaving natural white, sheer silk chiffon backing, contrasting with shimmering rayon velvet. I then dyed the fabric green and hand-paint the pattern with more vivid dyes in a watercolor style.
• Washable:
This scarf was pre-rinsed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle wash cycle followed by a hot dryer will make it softer. It may be ironed on the reverse side.
•Measures 21"x 70" (54cm x 178cm):
The sewn hems are rolled edges.
•The fabric is silk backing with rayon pile.
All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
