A pattern of Ginkgo leaves in devoré (burnout) silk-velvet. The fabric is sheer silk dyed a purple tone with an all-over velvet pattern hand-painted with more dyes in a watercolor style.
This scarf was pre-washed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle will make it softer. A hot dryer will make it fluffier. It may be ironed on the reverse side.
The sewn hems are rolled-edges.
•The fabric is silk chiffon backing with rayon velvet pile.
All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
